Zug, 15 April 2025 – Vertell Asset Management, a leading hotel investment and asset management firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Vincent Rime as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Guillaume Bott as Head of Hospitality Operations. Following the takeover of two major hotel redevelopment projects in Gstaad and Wengen, Switzerland, these strategic hires reinforce Vertell Asset Management’s commitment to growth in the real estate hospitality sector, with a particular focus on the Alpine region.
Vincent Rime Appointed as CFO
Vincent brings extensive experience in financial leadership and strategic transformation within the hospitality industry. He previously worked with Vertell as CFO for the development of Faern Hotel & Resorts, a major Swiss mountain hotel group with 500 rooms, where he played a pivotal role in the successful refinancing, repositioning, and management of the portfolio. Under his leadership, the financial department was transformed into a data-driven organization, enhancing decision-making processes for owners and management.
Before that, Vincent was CFO and Executive Board Member of a care home and hotel owner/operator in Switzerland. He successfully built and expanded the financial department of this fast-growing startup, which grew from 10 to 350 employees in five years. Earlier in his career, Vincent was part of the private equity investment team at Pictet & Cie, further strengthening his expertise in financial structuring and investment management. He holds a BS in Economics from HEC Lausanne and an MA in Banking and Finance from Zurich University and is recognized as a specialist in accounting automation and financial process digitalization.
Guillaume Bott Appointed as Head of Hospitality Operations
Guillaume joins Vertell with over 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality and gastronomy, an in-depth expertise in the operation of hotels in leisure destinations, particularly in the Alps. From 2020 to 2023, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Whitegold Hospitality, where he played a key role in building an operational and commercial platform that supported the group’s external growth, expanding from 2 to 14 hotels in just 3 years.
Previously, he was Operations Director at Les Hôtels d’en-Haut (now Beaumier), overseeing high-end properties in Courchevel, Megève, and Val Thorens. His leadership extended to managing the prestigious Palace Les Airelles in Courchevel and spearheading F&B operations at Maison & Hôtels Sibuet in Megève, where he played a key role in the repositioning of multiple establishments. His career blends luxury hotel management expertise with a strong understanding of the unique demands of seasonal mountain destinations.
“We are thrilled to welcome Vincent and Guillaume to Vertell,” said Romain Semmel, Founder and CEO at Vertell. “Vincent’s financial acumen and track record of driving data-driven financial strategies will be invaluable as we continue optimizing our portfolio’s performance. Meanwhile, Guillaume’s deep knowledge of high-end hospitality operations, particularly in Alpine resorts, aligns perfectly with our vision and strategy in this sector.”
